Astro Systems VG814

Der VG 814 von Astro Systems ist ein Digital-Videogenerator.
Er liefert eine Auswahl verschiedener Video- und Prüfmuster.
Sowohl in der Entwicklung als auch in der Produktion zum Testen und Kalibrieren von Monitoren, Videoprojektoren, Bildverarbeitungssystemen und Flachbildschirmen (LCD und Plasma) kann er eingesetzt werden.
Ebenfalls werden Tri-Level Sync-Signale für Prüfanwendungen für HDTV Anwendungen geliefert.

The VG 814 made by Astro Systems is a Digital Video Generator.
It generates a wide selection of video timing and test patterns quickly and easily.
The VG 814 can also be used for production and R&D applications of flat panel displays including plasma displays, LCD etc.
The VG 814 also generates tri-level sync for high-definition TV (HDTV) test applications.

Features:

Dot (pixel) clock range is 5 to 75 MHz
Up to 30 different complex test patterns are built in, such as SMPTE, high voltage regulation test, paring, cross talk, ramp pattern, etc.
Very fast pattern selection and display
Built in RS-232 interface for computer control
Independent programming of horizontal/vertical and dot frequencies
Front panel EEPROM in ZIF socket for easy program storage and recall using front panel keys
Analogue and TTL outputs
Panel ROM structure is compatible with the VG 819
Three state sync signals (BTA-S-001 and "Eureka") for high-definition TV test applications
Output circuits are protected against CRT arc or similar external voltage conditions
